Chairman, Sapele local government area Hon. Eugene Inoaghan has inaugurated Mr Felix Ayemidejor as secretary of the council.
The ceremony which was held at the council Secretariat had in attendance top Government functionaries in the council including member representing Sapele Constituency at the Delta State House Of Assembly, Hon. Chief Felix Uruemuesiri Anirah among others.
In his remarks, Hon. Inoaghan urged Mr Ayemidejor to be more devoted to his duty, while bringing in his wealth of experience to work.
Mr. Ayemidejor as a core party man has served in diverse capacity and his services are needed now for the growth and development of the council, the council boss added.
While reiterating the need for the new secretary to work in synergy with the executive and legislative arm of the council, the chairman Chief Inoaghan commended the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) Sapele local government area for clearing Mr. Felix Ayemidejor for the position of the council scribe.
Chief Inoaghan also appreciated member representing Sapele Constituency at the State House Of Assembly, Chief Anirah and other leaders present for gracing the ceremony.
In his vote of thanks, Mr Felix Ayemidejor expressed deep appreciation to the Chairman, Chief Eugene Inoaghan for giving him the opportunity to work with him adding that he will not betray the confidence reposed in him.
While praying God Almighty to give him the needed wisdom to work deligently as secretary of the local government, Mr. Ayemidejor pledged to carry out his duty effectively to the best of his ability.
Mr. Ayemidejor who was a two term councilor and majority Leader Sapele Legislative Arm appreciated his Political leaders for considering him for the office.

It would be recall that Mr. Felix Ayemidejor was screened and confirmed last week by the Delta State House of Assembly, Asaba as Secretary of Sapele Local Government Area.
Those who were on the ground to witness the colourful inauguration ceremony in compliance with Covid-19 protocol were Hon Vincent Ayomanor Vice Chairman of Sapele local government area, Mr Bright Abeke Hon Commissioner representing Sapele, Okpe and Ethiope West local government area on the board of DESOPADEC, Mrs. Ify Felix Ayemidejor
