Orhuwhorun Family Issues Three Weeks Ultimatum To Land Buyers To Establish Ownership

The Uterhi family of Orhuwhorun community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State has issued a three weeks ultimatum to buyers of Iwhrede farm land to meet with the family to establish their ownership and verification.

The family in a public notice signed by solicitor, Chief R. O. Efeh for R. A. Kpedi & Co., on behalf of the Uterhi family, stated that they are the customary owners of all the vast expanse of land known as Iwhrede farm land situate at Iwhrede Bush/Layout, off Orhuwhorun-Owhrode Road, Orhuwhorun Town in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State of Nigeria.

According to the notice dated 29th March, 2022, “we have the instruction of our client to give and we hereby give notice on behalf of our client to all persons, be it corporate or individual who purchased portions of the Iwhrede farm land, but have not developed same to meet with our client with a view to establishing their ownership/title and verification by the family.

“This meeting has become pertinent in view of incidence of trespass and encroachment on the land by unknown land grabbers.

“Take Notice that if you fail to meet with the family within 3 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice, the Uterhi family shall not be held liable for any trespass and encroachment on the land”, it added.
