Prominent national officers and members of Delta Central 2023 aka DC-23 Lobby Group are obviously singing a different song signifying the final downfall of unpopular aspirant, Olorogun David Edevbie.
The officers have also openly disassociated themselves from the alleged Cash and Carry endorsement of Edevbie by the infamous and controversial Olorogun Moses Taiga’s led Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, which recently endorsed Edevbie, the political godson cum financial consultant to our amiable former governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, the Odidigborigbo of the entire political universe, as preferred aspirant throwing Urhobo nation into another round of political crisis.
The former DC-23 officers which have openly and technically and/or impliedly renounced their membership of the almost disbanded DC-23 are; Chief Hon Solomon Ighakpata (National Deputy Chairman), Olorogun Dr Chris Oharisi (National Secretary), Olorogun Arthur Akpowowo (National Publicity Secretary), Rt Hon Evelyn Oboro (represented by Hon Sunny Apah – Assistant National Publicity Secretary).
Others includes, Rt Hon Sunny Emeyese, Hon Omonemu Edewor, Olorogun Solomon Oturu aka Chapel, Chief Emojeya, Hon Raymond Edijala, as well as some governorship aspirants who were unjustly and unconstitutionally screened out but still in the race to edge out David Edevbie. They are; Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, Olorogun Barr Fred Majemite, Chief Odebala, Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, Hon Chief Abel Esievo and others.
Apart from the former DC-23 members who are in the governorship race, all others mentioned above are now fully SHERIFFIED, declared Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as their preferred governorship candidate and took steps further to appealed to PDP delegates to vote enmass for Oborevwori at the forthcoming gubernatorial primaries.
The former DC-23 promoters and national officers described Oborevwori as a Pan Delta Project, best suited to consolidate on the power rotation arrangement to further unify and advance Delta in all ramifications.
They also added their voices to the call for the immediate withdrawal of David Edevbie’s kangaroo cum alleged financially induced endorsement by UPU under the failed leadership of Moses Taiga.
It has been rumoured that David Edevbie may soon step down for Sheriff Oborevwori.
Oborevwori is the real DEAL.
