Member Representing Sapele Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (High- Chief) Felix Anirah joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders, delegates and party faithful at the grand finale consultation of the frontline aspirant for the state governorship race Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori in Orerokpe, the ancestral home of the Okpe People and Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.
Hon. Anirah who is seeking re-election to the house, expressed optimism over the
unprecedented crowd that attended the event that later turned carnival.
Addressing Journalists, the Lawmaker describes the event as mother of all political consultations since the governorship aspirant started his movements across the 25 local government areas of the state.
Anirah who is also Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the house opined that the turn out of political participants and spectators for the governorship delegates election billed for 21st May is a sign of victory for Rt. Hon. Oborevwori ahead of the crucial poll.
While drumming support for the foremost Governorship aspirant in the State and National Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria , Rt Hon Oborevwori, the lawmaker said Oborevwori has all the requisite qualifications to succeed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Anirah said the MORE agenda of Oborevwori that captured that of the Okowa’s SMART agenda predicted better days ahead for all Deltans.
Speaking on his political ambition, the soft spoken Lawmaker chronicled all his political achievements to his constituency since 2019 till date to include renovation of schools, scholarships to indigent students from Primary schools to universities, welfare packages for the aged and indigent people.
Others include human and capital development for youth, women among others.
Anirah full of confidence reiterated that Sapele delegates who are pleased with his performance will reciprocate same gestures by entrusting him with the Sapele PDP ticket to consolidate on his achievements.
