Ezewu Tasks Teachers On Commitments To Duties…As She Monitors School Resumption In Delta

Delta State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu has monitored the school resumption in state with a charge to teachers in the state to redouble their commitments towards realising the vision of the Okowa led administration in the education system.

Mrs. Ezewu , who gave the advice during her monitoring visit to public secondary schools in Uwvie Local Government Area said that the purpose of the visit was to ascertain the level of compliance of the teachers and students for the resumption of the third term Academic Session.

While saying that she was satisfied with the level of compliance by teachers and students in the schools, Mrs. Ezewu urged teachers to immediately commence teaching so as to cover the curriculum on time .

The Secondary Education Commissioner said that Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa was irrevocably committed to leave behind endearing legacies in the education sector.

She enjoined students to eschew acts capable of destroying their future and be of good conduct at all times, adding that they should always embrace reading culture in order to become successful individuals in the nearest future.

Schools visited by the commissioner included Army Day Secondary School, Ugbomro Secondary School, Ekpan Basic Secondary School , Iteregbi Secondary School and Abe 1 Secondary School in Uwvie Local Government Area of the state among other schools.
