Delta State Chairman of Accord Party, Mr Fred Obi has congratulated Delta State Governor-Elect, Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the March 18, Governorship Election.
Mr Obi in his Congratulatory Message described the victory of the People’s Democratic Party’s Governorship Candidate, Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as well deserved.
He noted that, Right Hon Oborevwori worked hard for the victory noting that, he is the only Governorship Candidate that took his campaign round the wards in Delta state.
Mr Obi stated that, Delta State Accord Party believe in the capability of Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori hence her Governorship Candidate stepped down for him and the party endorsed him.
He expressed confidence that Right Hon Oborevwori will transform the state with his MORE Agenda.
Delta Accord Party Chairman called on all that contested with Right Hon Oborevwori to accept defeat, join hand with the winner to build the State of our Dream noting that peace is key to building a better Delta State.
He warned supporters of both the Winners and lossers to avoid inflammatory statements that could threaten the Peace of the State.
Mr Obi urged Right Hon Oborevwori to be magnamous in victory so as to heal wounds caused by the election by extending a hand of fellowship to other contestants and run an inclusive Government.
He equally Congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his achievements across the state and urge his successor, Right Hon Oborevwori to consolidate on his remarkable achievements.
