Delta Speaker, Emomotimi Guwor Receives DIPA Patron’s Award

Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, Wednesday, received a distinguished award for service to humanity from Dyslexia Initiative Project Africa, DIPA.

The award was presented to him at his official residence in Asaba, the state capital, by the founder and Executive Director of the non governmental organization, Mrs Enddy Sunny-Udjor.

The DIPA Patron’s Award to the Speaker, according to the organization was “in a deep appreciation of his past and present laudable roles in support of humanitarian activities”.

Mrs Sunny-Udjor congratulated Rt Hon Guwor for the award and urged him to remain committed in service to God and mankind.

The Speaker, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, thanked DIPA for recognizing whatever that must had informed his choice for the award and promised never to loose focus in his avowed commitment for a better society, including humanitarian service.

“As it pleases God today for me to be so recognized for this award, I thank Him for grace and return all glory to Him. Although I have my reservations on the issue of awards to people, I choose to accept this as it touches on what I believe so much on.

“I thank DIPA for it and promised never to be found wanting in service to God and humanity. Once again, I thank your organization for recognizing me for this award. Thank you and God bless”, Guwor stated.
