Executive Assistant on Communications to the Governor of Delta State, Dr Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, has multifaceted passion for the unity, peace building and socioeconomic remodeling of Nigeria.
The Eacgovdelta made the assertion on Wednesday while answering questions at Trend FM Radio live political programme in Asaba, saying that the genius in Okowa shall substantially play out as he work closely with President Atiku Abubakar to heal broken hearts, effectively secure our nation, revamp and adequately fund the educational sector, repay the reckless huge debts incurred by APC/Buhari administration, and grow Nigeria’s economy.
Oghenesivbe averred that some of the greatest passions of the incoming Vice President Okowa, is youth capacity development and empowerment, job and wealth creation, peace and pilitical bridge building, pointing out that Nigerians can attest to these superlative qualities which he had exhibited in governance and political leadership spanning nearly three decades and counting.
He disclosed that when the Southern Governors met in Asaba to insist on a Southern President in 2023, it was an agreement between PDP and APC governors, not backed by the NEC and BOT of their respective political parties, adding that Okowa as a loyal and dedicated party man had to align with PDP’s interest, which is to do the needful to take Nigeria from the grip of failed APC national government.
He noted that the Buharists cabal of the APC party crippled the socioeconomic activities of Nigeria through various alleged unscrupulous activities, coupled with total failure to fulfil 2015 and 2019 electioneering promises made to Nigerians.
Oghenesivbe, a Distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, Fcism, posited that the Wike factor in PDP shall be finally resolved in the coming days before the takeoff of Presidential campaigns, describing Governor Nyedom Wike, as an indefatigable party leader and forthright individual, who has been one of the leading voices of PDP over the years and counting.
“I can tell you for free that the Wike factor shall be resolved before we commence presidential campaigns. Yes, it has lingered but there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel.
“Wike is a political dynamite and his great political and leadership potentials and the entire PDP structures shall be unleashed on the APC and other parties as we navigate to rescue Nigeria from APC clueless leaders who collectively crippled the socioeconomic fortunes of our country.
“My good Boss and the incoming Vice President, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, is a great patriot.
“He has inestimable passion for the unity, progress and socioeconomic remodelling of our country. Working closely with President Atiku Abubakar shall be result oriented and beneficial to country and citizens, home and abroad.
“Okowa’s commitments to youth capacity development and empowerment, job and wealth creation as well as peace building shall substantially give a boost to achievements of Atiku administration from 2023 to 2031.
“Nigerians shall be the greatest beneficiaries of the restructuring and decentralization policies of the nation’s socioeconomic and security arrangements of the Atiku administration as encapsulated in the presidential blueprint titled; ‘My Covenant With Nigerians,’ which is the only outstanding presidential manifesto in this political and electioneering dispensation.
“I humbly and respectfully urge all Nigerians especially our women and youth to be fully and completely ATIKULATED, as we collectively take back Nigeria from the failed APC government for mismanaging our common patrimony,” Oghenesivbe said.
