Chairman, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue Service, IRS, Hon (Chief) Solomon Ighrakpata has condoled with his predecessor in office, now Deputy Governor of the state, Sir Monday Onyeme over the demise of his mother-in-law, Ezinne Gold Obinnaya Egege.
Ighrakpata in a statement commiserated with Sir Onyeme and family over the irrepressible lost of their beloved mother and mother-in-law, and prayed God to grant the soul of the late Ezinne and souls of other departed eternal rest.
Ighrakpata who described death as inevitable, thanked God that the late Ezinne Gold Obinnaya Egege, lived a fulfilled life.
The former Lawmaker reassured the Deputy Governor that he is with him and family, even at the trying period.
“I want to on behalf of my family commiserate with my predecessor in office and Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, over the passing to eternal glory of his mother in-law, Ezinne Gold Obinnaya Egege.
“Death is inevitable. It is a supreme prize all mortals must pay. I rejoice with her Excellency, wife of the Deputy Governor because her mother lived a fulfilled life. Our prayer is God to grant her soul and souls of other departed through the mercies of God, eternal rest”, Ighrakpata stated.
The burial ceremony of the late Deputy Governor mother in-law comes up this Friday, October 6, 2023 in Abia state.
