Okowa’s Aide Omuvwie Donates 10KVA Power Generator To Power Community Hall

Honourable (Engr.) Emmanuel Okpemagware Omuvwie, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Project Monitoring and Evaluation to the Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, has donated a power generator of 10KVA to his Amuokpokor-Elume home town in Sapele Local Government Area of the state to help argument/increase the epileptic power supply of Power Holding Company of Nigeria to the community.

The donation was received by the Community Chairman, Mr. Christopher Efe Obule, Speaker of the Community, Mr. Samuel Azu among others on behalf of the community leaderships.

Honourable Omuvwie, who is also the Chairman/CEO of Kpemisco Nigeria Limited was represented by Comrade Egbesu Samson, Senior Accountant to Desopadec where he disclosed that the gesture was meant to contribute solution to the decades partial darkness that affects the entire community.

He said the generator will be used epecifically to power the community hall during meetings advising them to use the generator wisely and service it regularly so that the generator can serve them longer.

“Sequel to the non availability of light in the community, residents are finding it difficult to charge their phones. As such, with this generator, residents can charge their phones” Honourable Omuvwie added.

Responding, the Community Chairman, Mr. Christopher Efe Obule lauded Honourable (Engr.) Emmanuel Okpemagware Omuvwie for the gesture and pray God to continue to protect and empower Hon (Engr.) Omuvwie to enable him empower the community more.

It would be recalled that the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Project Monitoring and Evaluation to the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa had recently planted over 750 species of the masquerade tree along the community major road, spanning about 2.5 kilometres.
