Oseme Mourns Pa Okowa’s Passage, Condoles The Okowa Family

The immediate past Chairman of Aniocha North local government council, Hon Chuks Oseme, has expressed deep shock at the passing on of PA Arthur Okowa, father of Governor lfeanyi Okowa, describing it as “a big blow to , not only the Okowa family, but also to the government and people of Delta State

In a statement in Asaba today , the former Aniocha north helmsman described the departed father of the State Governor as instrumental to the high moral and administrative rectitude of his Son the Governor, and indeed , the entire siblings of the Okowa family.

Hon Oseme recalled the late Pa Arthur Okowa,s support for his son,s political sojourn which saw him attaining the highest political office in the State , a feat the immediate past Aniocha north council boss attributed to the deceased,s mastery of grassroots politics.

Hon Oseme noted that PA OKOWA was not only a loving father who instilled indellible values on his children, but was also a community leader per excellence whose wealth of experience in traditional and community issues brought about much accelerated development to his Own Aliero community and indeed , the entire Owa kingdom.

Said Oseme : “We have lost a father , a mentor and a disciplinarian whose roles greatly helped in moulding the character and person of our dear Governor that we are enjoying his imprints today in the tangible development dotting the entire Delta State landscape . On behalf of my family and supporters, l hereby commiserate with His Excellency the Governor , Senator Dr lfeanyi Arthur Okowa , on the passage to eternal glory of our father the peace maker and Pathfinder , Pa Arthur Okowa. May the legacies he left behind be a source of consolation to the entire Okowa family and those who mourn his passage to eternal glory . May his soul rest in peace profound “, the statement added
