Delta NSCDC Mouthpiece Okwechime Says The Corps Is Determine To Flush Out Bad Eggs

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has been described as one of the most corruption-free institutions in Nigeria.

The statement is attributed to the NSCDC image maker in Delta State, DSC Emeka Okwechime, who was a guest on Bridge FM Asaba, to speak on behalf of the force.

DSC Okwechime Commended the forthrightness of it’s personnel to the doctrinal slogan from a retired Commandant General of the NSCDC which notes: “collect bribe and die, compromise and be exposed,” which has been the watchdog and practice in the NSCDC.

The NSCDC Public Relations Officer also reflected on the results of the consolidated and intimidating qualities of the present Commandant General Dr Abubakar Audi Ahmed, PhD (mni) as unparalled in force leadership in the country. His resilience to rejig, revamp and repositioning the corps calls for commendation and national recognition.

He added that NSCDC has lived beyond it’s expectations despite the fact that it is the youngest among the paramilitary agencies in Nigeria.

Dsc Okwechime further stated that the unrelenting State Commandant Akinsanya Abiodun Iskilu avowed the readiness of the Corps to clamp down on enemies of the State and bring them to justice irrespective of their position in the society.

The NSCDC spokesman reiterated that the corps is serious about it’s commitment to sanitize the institution and to fish out the bad eggs out of the system if any. He challenged the general public to feel free to say something when they see something. He said that the public should report erring officer to any NSCDC office closer to them for immediate and necessary actions.

The Public Relations Officer further linked the high level of transparency and forthrightness in the corps to the immaculate conception and genuine mindset of the founding fathers/Generals of the corps to genuinely, voluntarily and sincerely sacrifice time and resources to assists the civil population in the time disaster , emergency, war, protests and unrest in the country.
