Militant Groups Give Shell 7-Day Ultimatum To Meet Demands Or Face Consequences

One of the dreaded Militant Groups iSea Dragons in the Niger Delta Region has handed down 7 – Day Ultimatum to SHELL PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY SPDC by calling on the Federal Government to prevail on the Oil Company to remove some of its Personel who the group accused of using their privilege positions to hijack and do jobs and contracts meant for them adding that these jobs and contracts were given to them as a condition to drop their arms and embrace the Federal Government Amnesty Programme.

The group in a statement made available to Journalists in Warri Delta State by its President, General Freeman andCommander, Ebi Lot , stated that if the Oil Company refused to remove or stop it’s staff in question,they are going to let lose by teaching SHELL and the Federal Government the only language they will understand.They specifically, called on the Federal Government to remove Mr Nengi Brown, Lucky Abitor Tony Awhotu,Sanniyu Ewors,Cyriana Wiliki and Oluyemi Oguluwa their Positions by stopping from the operations of the Company.

The group which operates along the Opukiusu,Tunu,Brass Greek,Benesede,Obotobo and Focardo Terminal,stated that

” As we speak,these same Personel of SHELL PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY have mobilize their personal equipments from Port Harcourt which includes 5 House Boats,11 Environmental Barges,Over 10 Tug – Boats, and stoppage of Oil Surveillance we are comptent enough to do these jobs that was the major reason why we law down our arms and embrace the Federal Government Amnesty Programme.If they ignore our demands I bet you we are going to teach them the language they understand.

How can you give our jobs to people from outside? Then you want us to keep quiet!The Oil and Gas in the Niger Delta Region belong to us failing to respect our rights we definitely cause problem.Enough is Enough”
