Oborevwori : When Original Wafi Senior Brother Is The Pilot

By Jonathan Adiotomre

Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, known as the Original Wafi Senior Brother, is taking bold steps to bring much-needed development to the Oil-City of Warri and its environs.

When he came out to tell Deltans to elect him as their Governor in the 2023 general elections, many wrote him off for reasons best known to them. But in my heart of hearts , I knew he was the right man for the job. Why? Having known him for a long time as a down to earth person and a grassroot man, I was convinced that if elected, he will not disappoint the people.

Recognizing the underdevelopment and neglect that has plagued the area for years, Governor Oborevwori has secured a groundbreaking deal with German Construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, to transform the city.

The Delta State government and Julius Berger Nigeria Plc have signed a contract worth #78 billion for the construction of flyover bridges, cloverleaf interchanges, and road expansion projects in Warri and Effurun.

This ambitious project includes the expansion of a section of DSC/NPA Expressway, the construction of a Cloverleaf Interchange at the existing Effurun flyover, and the addition of pedestrian bridges. Flyover bridges will also be built at strategic locations such as Enerhen junction, Marine Gate, DSC roundabout, and PTI junction.

Governor Oborevwori’s decision to bring in Julius Berger Nigeria Plc marks a turning point for Warri. The city, once a vibrant and prosperous hub, has suffered from neglect and abandonment by multinational companies.

However, with this new partnership, Warri is set to regain its former glory. The construction projects will not only improve the city’s infrastructure but also create employment opportunities and attract business investments.

The Governor’s determination to restore Warri’s lost glory is evident. With his deep understanding of the area and its challenges, Governor Oborevwori is committed to bringing positive change and development. The people of Warri, known as Wafi People, have a unique opportunity to rally behind their own and support the Governor’s vision. By working together, the pains and hardships faced by the people of Warri will be a thing of the past.

Warri is bouncing back to life with Original Wafi Senior Brother as the pilot of Delta State. The roads are going to be very good again and reduction in unemployment. I know for sure that the oil companies and others are set to return to the City again

The possibilities for Warri and the rest of Delta State are immense under the leadership of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Original Wafi Senior Brother. With Julius Berger Nigeria Plc on board, the rapid development of Warri and its environs is now on the fast track.

The long abandoned Abraka, Eku, Obiaruku and Agbor road is now receiving attention from the State Governor because the Federal Government never bothered about fixing this all important road over the years. Asaba, the state capital is also dear to the heart of the Governor who has done so much in the area since he came on board. The Governor’s efforts deserve commendation, and it is up to the people to seize this moment and contribute to the restoration of Warri’s greatness.

There are great potentials for the people of Warri ( Wafi People) and other Deltans because Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, a Senior Wafi Senior Brother is on board and the train for the rapid development of Warri and environs is on the fast lane. Julius Berger Nigeria Plc is ready to give a new design to Warri and I give the Original Wafi Senior Brother, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor a big salute !
