Godwin Adodo’s Performance in Ugheli North LGA Unprecedented, Says Integrity Group

The Integrity Group of Delta state has described the sterling performance of the immediate past Chairman of Ugheli North LGA, Hon. Godwin Adodo aka Coach Tete in office as unprecedented in the history of the council.
The convener of Integrity Group, Dr. Oke Idawene stated this in a remarks shortly after conferring an award of honour in recognition of his performance as well as investiture as a patron of Integrity Group on Hon. Godwin Adodo.
Speaking further at the event on Monday in Ugheli, Dr. Idawene noted that Delta state under governor Sheriff Oborevwore is a peaceful state and warned the evil merchant to desist forthwith.
Idawene said, “members of Integrity are here today to identify with Coach Tete, to tell the world of the good work he has done in Ugheli North LGA. I am an indigene of Ugheli North by association having lived here for almost 30 years – I can comfortably tell that Coach Tete has done well in the LGA as chairman.
“Integrity Group is the face of Oborevwore’s administration and from pre-election period till date we have not looked back in our support for the administration. This group is all about the MORE agenda which Hon. Godwin Adodo represent.
“Today, we are recognising you for your sterling performances and achievements during your tenure as Ugheli North LGA chairman. We are also here to honour you as one of our great patrons and most importantly as the face of Delta politics.
“Delta is a peaceful state hence nobody should disrupt our peaceful nature in other to paint the government black. God brought governor Sheriff for a purpose and that purpose must be realised, Coach Tete must be part of that purpose.” Idawene declared.
Responding, Hon. Adodo noted that Ugheli North is a complex LGA but expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to successfully served two terms of office without blemish.
He said; “In my first term it was zero allocations all through but unfortunately people did not understand. It is better to ask questions for clarification than negative criticism. The fortune of the LGA changed for good when president Bola Tinubu removed fuel subsidies.
“Despite the challenges, I have done well as two term chairman of Ugheli North LGA. The brochure of what I have done will proof that for anyone. We must support governor Sheriff Oborevwore because he is our brother and we must always stand by him.” He pointed out.
He then thanked the Integrity Group of Delta state for the honour done on him even as he challenged the group to continue to propagate the policy and programmes of governor Sheriff Oborevwore as encapsulated on his MORE agenda documents.
The high points of the ceremony was, presentation of honour and investiture of Adodo as patron of Integrity Group, goodwill messages from some dignitaries and group photographs.
