Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria and Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated winners of the All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Representatives primaries, describing their emergence as a reflection of the party’s internal democracy and the confidence of the grassroots.
Rt. Hon. Guwor commended the APC leadership for conducting a peaceful and transparent process, particularly in Delta State, and applauded party faithful across the 10 federal constituencies for their discipline, orderly participation, and commitment to the party’s ideals.
In a statement issued after the direct primaries by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker said the outcome shows that the APC in Delta State remains strong, united, and responsive to the will of its members.
He congratulated every candidate who emerged in the primaries and commended those who contested for keeping the process civil and issue-based.
Rt. Hon. Guwor urged the successful candidates to see their victory as a call to service and to immediately begin mobilizing across their constituencies in preparation for the general elections.

“The task ahead is to engage the electorate on the APC’s track record and the party’s vision for Delta State and Nigeria. I charge all our candidates to run issue-based campaigns, unite the party post-primaries, and work with our dear Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and party stakeholders at all levels to secure victory for the APC,” the Speaker said.
He called on other aspirants and their supporters to embrace reconciliation in the interest of party unity.
“Party unity is very critical ahead of the general elections. A united APC is the surest path to a landslide victory for our party in Delta State.
“Our strength lies in speaking with one voice. Only a united APC can effectively present our track record and deliver the Renewed Hope for MORE agenda to Deltans,” Guwor added.
