A United House Can’t Be Defeated —Igbakpa ***As He Takes PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to Grassroots In Delta

The newly nominated Delta State Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Hon. Ben Igbakpa, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state to close ranks and embark on aggressive grassroots sensitization to ensure victory for the party in 2027.

Igbakpa, a former member of the House of Representatives, and one time Deputy Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, stated this in a social media post, upon the inauguration of a platform for the movement in Delta.

He described the platform as a “people’s movement” that belongs to all APC faithful, aimed at taking the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to the grassroots.

“By choice we have all chosen to belong to the APC and by that action, it is our responsibility to ensure that our party wins using the instrumentality of democratic norms because it is only out of victory that there can be dividends and patronage”, Igbakpa said.

The Coordinator noted that the task ahead is demanding and requires collective effort, stressing that the movement will assign responsibilities based on capacity to ensure effective delivery.

“The task ahead is not an easy one but an onerous one that demands everybody coming together to do it. Nobody can do it alone. That’s the more reason I am happy seeing the caliber of persons already signed to the platform”, Igbakpa stated.

He added that members of the movement will serve as the mouthpiece of the President, the Governor and all APC candidates in communities where government officials cannot easily reach.

“We are the mouthpiece and will be speaking for them where they cannot reach or be reached. We are going to carry out from time to time the assignment of sensitization of what the Government is doing”, he said.

Igbakpa explained that the “Door-to-Door” approach is designed to ensure no community is left out in the mobilization drive, and urged members to report any unreached areas for immediate action.

“Like the name ‘Door to Door’, if there is any door unknocked, please bring it to the table. We do understand that there are challenges and it is our duty as a team to educate the people on steps the government is taking to tackle them”, he added.

The Coordinator disclosed that consultations will soon be held with the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori and the Grand Patron of the movement, High Chief (Dr.) Government O. Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, after which the State Executive Committee will be constituted based on agreed templates.

Hon Igbakpa commended Governor Oborevwori for policies and decisions that have engendered peace and development in the state, and expressed optimism that a united APC house in Delta cannot be defeated.

“This is the home state of Door to Door and know that a united house can’t be defeated,” Igbakpa stressed.
