Member representing Okpe Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) James Augoye PhD, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, retired Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo, CFR, Orhue I, Orodje of Okpe Kingdom and Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, on his 20th Coronation Anniversary.
In a statement on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the lawmaker described the 20 years of the Orodje’s reign as “two decades of peace, progress, and cultural renaissance” for Okpe Kingdom and Delta State at large.
The Lawmaker, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts, noted that as Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, the Orodje has been a voice of reason and a stabilizing force, providing invaluable counsel to government at all levels.
Hon. Augoye added that the monarch’s military background and royal carriage have brought dignity, security consciousness, and pride to the throne of his forefathers.
“Your Majesty, your ascension to the throne 20 years ago marked the beginning of a new era for Okpe land. You have ruled with wisdom, courage, and compassion. As our father and king, you have united our people and projected the good name of Okpe Kingdom across Nigeria and beyond”, Augoye stated.
“On behalf of my family, associates and the good people of Okpe Constituency, I celebrate this milestone. We pray that God Almighty who enthroned you will continue to strengthen you, grant you good health, and many more years of peaceful and prosperous reign”, the Lawmaker prayed.
Hon. Augoye pledged the continued support and loyalty of the people to the throne and to the vision of the Orodje for a greater Okpe Kingdom.
“May God continue to preserve you on the throne of your ancestors. May your reign be long, peaceful, and glorious”, Augoye added.
