UNITY, MOBILIZATION TOP AGENDA AS APC DELTA SOUTH STAKEHOLDERS MEET IN WARRI

The Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria and Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, will join other top APC chieftains at the Delta South Senatorial District Leaders, Elders and Stakeholders Mega Meeting slated for tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Warri.

The Convener of the meeting and Chairman of APC Delta South, Prince Emmanuel Amgbadugba, in a statement, said the strategic gathering will hold at 10:00 a.m. at Brownhill Coliseum, 6/7 Elf Road, Ogunu, Warri.

The meeting is expected to draw elected representatives, serving and former office holders at federal, zonal, state and local levels, party executives, stakeholders and select members from the 8 local government areas in the district.

Besides Speaker Guwor, other dignitaries expected include former Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan; Senator representing Delta South, Joel-Onowakpo Thomas; former Senator James Manager; and the 4 members of the House of Representatives from the district: Julius Pondi, Nicholas Mutu, Thomas Ereyitomi and Jonathan Ukodikho, alongside other notable party figures.

The meeting will serve as a major platform for deliberations on party matters, internal cohesion and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaker Guwor’s participation is expected to add significant weight to the session as APC intensifies efforts to consolidate its structure across Delta South.

Known for his role in good governance and political advancement in the state, the Speaker is regarded as a key voice in the party’s growth at both district and state levels.

Several other leaders are also billed to attend with their wealth of experience and wide political reach, which underscores the importance of the gathering as one of the largest APC stakeholder engagements in Delta South in recent times.

Prince Amgbadugba said discussions will centre on strengthening party unity, improving coordination across APC structures in Delta South, and building a more formidable grassroots network for 2027.

With the convergence of such political figures, the gathering is expected to draw wide political interest across the state and further strengthen the party in Delta South under the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.

The Convener has urged all invited elders, leaders, stakeholders, executives, elected officials and party members to attend promptly and contribute to efforts aimed at repositioning the APC in Delta South.
