Executive Assistant on Communications to the Governor of Delta State, Barr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has been conferred with OHONMWONRE traditional chieftaincy title in Kokori Community of Agbon Kingdom,, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The ceremony which took place at both the Okaoro and Edion traditional chambers in Kokori Inland, was well attended by over 200 Chiefs of Kokori Communities on Wednesday April 21, 2021 followed by a light refreshment at Chief Fred Oghenesivbe’s country home, in Kokori town.
The Ohonmwonre Chieftaincy is a prelude to the Okakuro Chieftaincy title at Ovie of Agbon Palace, to be held in the near future subject to His Royal Majesty, Ogunrimerime’s approval with the Okakuros in Council.
Chief Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, is a Justice of the Peace in Delta State and Barrister at Law. He hails from Kokori; son of Ovbhememrere, grand son of Emosivwe, great grant son of Onokuta and great great grand son of Obazenu and great grant son of Ojiji.
Maternally, Chief Oghenesivbe, JP hails from Okpara Inland. He is the grandson of Uvwo, great grand son of Isoko, great great grand son of Amrasavwokpare and Ereyamremu, etcetera.
Before his appointment as Executive Assistant on Communications to the Governor of Delta State, he was the Managing Director/Principal Partner at Pen & Paper Konsult Ltd (PPK LTD), PPK Aviation International and Aeroflight Travels Ltd.
He served as Director of Media and Communications to Delta APC Governorship candidate in 2015, Olorogun Otega Emerhor. He resigned his appointment in early 2017 and was appointed EAC to Governor Okowa on April 3, 2017 and reappointed in 2019.
In November 2017, President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Chief Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, as the Board Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, NITT, Zaria, but he politely turned down the offer on moral grounds haven been appointed EAC to Governor of Delta State.
Chief Oghenesivbe is married with children, a Christian, politician, media executive and political communication strategist, fondly referred to as THE PEN EAGLE, by his admirers and fans around the world.
He hold several academic degrees, fellow and member of various professional bodies in Nigeria and overseas. He is widely travelled and have several Awards to his credit.
