Former APC State Publicity Secretary, now a Chieftain of PDP in Delta State, Sylvester Imonina, Esq. has charged the leaders and PDP faithfuls and Deltans to ignore and disregard the unfounded allegations being dished out against the leadership of the Party and Party top-notch on a daily basis by some sponsored social media errands boys.
The PDP Chieftain in a statement personally signed by him recently, described the recent vituperation, propaganda and caustic media attack against the Party hierarchy and the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as the handiwork of desperate and power drunk opposition Leaders who do not mean well for Deltans but whose major target is to get power by hook or by crook! He therefore urged PDP Leaders, faithfuls and Deltans at large to pooh-pooh the satanic seed of discord and hatred that the opposition is trying hard to sow in PDP.
In his words, “while I was still on the other side, I was privy to information and strategies on how to deceive Deltans into believing that everything about PDP in Delta State is evil! But I can tell PDP leaders and Deltans for free that the media war and seed of discord being sown by way of unfounded rumours and the maligning of PDP first-eleven was cooked more than two years ago. It is only now that elections are around the corner that the opposition is now dishing out their cooked up lies and falsehood to gullible members of our dear Party and Deltans”.
Also, Sylvester Imonina, Esq. in the said statement said that “PDP Leaders and Party faithfuls and Deltans should expect more of those virulent attacks by sponsored agents of political desperados. They are planning to bring their machiavellian type of politics that is operational in Abuja to Delta State but they will fail because Deltans know better now than in 2015”.
In Imonina’s words, “unlike Delta APC whose name is synonymous with disunity, PDP is a united family and APC leaders know that they cannot make an inroad into the State’s political space except they create confusion; hence the media propaganda and attempts to sow seeds of disunity amongst the Leaders of the Party! I know that their plan will fail”, he posited.
Sylvester Imonina, Esq. urged Party Leaders and faithfuls to close ranks and work for the cohesion of the Party. He also prayed Deltans to shun the soured political porridges of the opposition being dished out on a daily basis. He pleaded that there should be no room for Deltans to fall into the political and satanic trap of APC.
