Delta 2023: Group Cautions PDP Delegates On Right Choices For Primaries ******Warns Aspirants Against Campaign Of Calumnies.

As delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the 25 local government areas of Delta State begin the recruitment process of new candidates that will fly the party’s flag in the various elections next year, PDP women in Delta Central Senatorial District have cautioned all party delegates across the state ahead of the primaries to make the right choice that will reflect the choice of the electorate for a better society and a better future for their children.

The advice was contained in a statement released to Journalists by the Woman Leader of PDP in Delta Central Senatorial District Hon Chief Dora Afonughe Sakpaide (JP).

Sakpaide said that the state needs a competent leaders especially for the governorship position who will improve on the enviable track records of Governor Okowa especially in the areas of insecurity, unemployment among others.

“Delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) should make informed decisions while voting to elect the party’s flag bearers in all the elections billed for next year’s elections across the state”

This Okowa’s led administration has provided credible leadership and required one who will build on the superb legacies and collaborate with the incoming Governor for more human and capital development projects across the state.

Deltans need a governor after Okowa that will retain and increase funding for some of the laudable peoples focused programmes like; RYSA, YAGEP, STEP, Project Gest for Girls and others, and the delegates most reflect on this to make informed decisions while voting to elect the party’s candidates across the state.

“The Technical Colleges; the old and new ones under construction across the state shall be another focus that our delegates should beam their search on also.

She however advised aspirants to eshew campaign of calumnies.
