A former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Samuel Mariere , has felicitated with the former Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi OKOWA on his 64 birth anniversary.
Hon Mariere who is the immediate past Commissioner for Water Resources in the state in a statement wished the former Governor good health and many happy returns.
The former Lawmaker who was a member of the 5th and 6th Assembly, said over the years, the celebrant, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa have proven to be a trustworthy and dependable leader, saying that he left indelible marks as Governor of Delta State.
He said “I, on behalf of my family rejoice and celebrate with His Excellency, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, on the auspicious occasion of his 64th birth anniversary. Your Excellency, over the years, you have proven to be a worthy and dependable leader. Your footprints and legacies as Governor of Delta State for eight years would remain ever lasting in our dear state.
“Your contributions to the development of the state and economic well-being of others is sincerely appreciated and acknowledged by Deltans. It is my prayer that God continue to guide, strengthen, protect and grant you the wisdom to make more positive impact in your services to God and humanity.
