Delta State Chapter of Accord Party has Congratulated Delta State Governor, Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal Asaba.
A Congratulatory Message signed by Delta State Chairman of the Party, Mr Fred Obi commends the Judges at the Tribunal led by Justice C.H. Ahuchaogu for standing on the path of justice by upholding the electoral victory of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
It urged the opposition parties to sheathe their sword, stop further litigations and join hands with Governor Oborevwori to develop the state, nothing that he means well for Deltans.
Delta Accord Party commended Governor Oborevwori for his excellent performance across the state within his first four months in office, especially in his policy of tackling the infrastructural defeceit of the State.
The Party noted that, Governor Oborevwori’s plan to employ the service of Construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc is a pointer to his commitment towards building a better state that will be the envy of all.
It added that Governor Oborevwori’s approval of the construction of three flyovers in the twin cities of Warri and Effurun, is highly commendable as this will boost economic activities of the Oil city of Warri which is the commercial hub of the state.
Delta Accord Party called on other political parties in the state to support Governor Oborevwori to enable successfully implement his MORE Agenda.
