In a bid to intensify the moves to occupy the seat of Burutu LG chairman, Comrade Ozobo Austin who hailed from Ayakoromo community has finally declared his ambition in his ward to flag off his campaigns for the forthcoming Delta State LG polls.
Congress learnt that his bold step was applauded by the PDP ward leadership and the community, noting that his declaration beats the imagination of his kinsmen.
He was received by his people and his top notch blueprint was unveiled, as elders and the PDP ward leadership prayed for him.
The community was agog and overwhelmed with Ozobo’s declaration following the inability of the ward 7 to produce an elected LG chairman for two decades.
It was gathered that the community throwed massive support on him following his commitment, passion and dedication to represent the community at the LG level.
While speaking, he promised to provide empowerment for women, youths in the community and Burutu at large, noting that fishermen and women would have the opportunity to receive free fishing nets and boats.
He promised to run all inclusive government, where every persons in the LG would be respected in respective of religion, status and academic backgrounds.
Amongst others, he assured Burutu people of prompt payment of staff, provision of free note books, scholarship for best performing students in sciences and mathematics, payment of Busary for students in higher institutions, support for NDA, other military trainings, Free WAEC and NECO Registration for best performing students, provision of desk and other information
