2027: Warri South-West APC Declares Total Support For Ereyitomi, Guwor

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Warri South-West Local Government Area has unanimously endorsed Rt. Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi and Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor for another term in the National and Delta State Assemblies, respectively.

The resolution was adopted at a well-attended gathering of APC leaders and supporters in Ogbe-Ijoh, the headquarters of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Delta State, South-South, Nigeria.

Stakeholders, including party leaders, women and youth groups, and hundreds of constituents, declared total support for the two lawmakers, describing them as tested, trusted, honest and result-oriented representatives.

They said Ereyitomi, who represents Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, had delivered effective leadership and quality representation, stressing the need for them to continue with the good work.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, Chief Michael Johnny, and Chief Frank Omare said the decision was based on performance, accessibility, grassroots connection, empowerment programmes, and inclusive leadership.

“Rt. Hon. Chief Ereyitomi has consistently demonstrated courage, loyalty, and dedication in representing our people at the National Assembly, while maintaining close ties with constituents across Warri South-West, Warri North, and Warri South,” one leader said.

The leaders also passed a resounding vote of confidence on Speaker Guwor, citing his humility and visionary leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly, and his steady stewardship of legislative affairs in the state.

They noted that his election as Speaker in 2023 and as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, had brought honour and greater visibility to Warri South-West and Warri Federal Constituency.

“Speaker Guwor has maintained a strong connection with the grassroots and remained committed to responsive, people-oriented representation,” another leader added.

The leaders called for massive support for the two representatives from the people of Warri South-West for greater access to good governance and quality representation.

In their responses, Rt. Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi and Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor thanked the APC family for the endorsement and urged party faithful to sustain the spirit of unity as the party prepares for the next electoral cycle.

“Warri South-West has always been known for unity, peace, and political oneness. Let us continue in that spirit as we move forward together,” Guwor said.

The event ended with chants of solidarity and a renewed commitment to work for the reelection of the duo of Ereyitomi and Guwor.

Present at the gathering were the APC Chairman of Warri South-West LGA, Mr. Collins Ebieto; Hon. Daniel Mayuku; Chief Michael Johnny; Chief Frank Omare; Chief Boro Opudu; Engr. Tuoyo Omatsuli; Madam Beauty Warejuwei; Chief David Omare; Prince Moves Fregene; Mr. Indiami; Hon. Christy Omamofe, Vice Chairman of Warri South-West LGA; Pst. Arex Akemotubo; Barr.
