The Assistant Woman Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State Hon Chief Dora Afonughe Sakpaide (JP) has congratulated the wife of the State Governor, Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa on her birth anniversary.
In a goodwill message to felicitate with the first lady @ 60, Chief Sakpaide described Dame Okowa as a virtuous woman who remain steadfast to her husband’s success story.

opined that the First Lady has also attracted joy to several homes over the years through her pet project 05 initiative.
Chief Sakpaide said; “On behalf of my family, Delta PDP women, I congratulate Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, the wife of the Governor on her birthday today. May the Almighty Lord be praised for inspiring her to put smiles on other people’s face. No doubt, she is a woman like mother Theresal with her charity works to Deltans and beyond. Her generosity equally extended to health with the establishment of sickle cell centres all over the state which I must appreciate her for what she is doing in the lives of our people”.
