Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Communications, Olorogun Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, has congratulated the media team of the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, DESPSOMET, on the occasion of her fifth year anniversary of proactive and excellent service to the party and state government.
The Eacgov in his congratulatory message to the team and made available to newsmen, said DESPSOMET deserves commendation for consistency in propagating the activities and programmes of Delta PDP, and by extension defending and promoting the state government’s policies, programmes and achievements within the past five years of the team’s existence.
Oghenesivbe recalls the numerous hardwork of the team leader, Comrade Edwin Afejuku, Lily Udeze Okolugbo and other members during the 2019 governorship election, and the enviable roles played during local governments elections in the social media by publishing and posting visuals, stories and articles about the achievements of this administration and the activities of the state party chairman, Kingsley Esiso, Esq.
He appealed to the state governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, to appoint more members of DESPSOMET as media aides in appreciation of the team members loyalty to both PDP and the state government.
“I have worked closely with team DESPSOMET and I am in an advantage position to say that they have truly served our great party, PDP, and the state government meritoriously and without blemish.
“Their loyalty and dedication to duty has been appreciated by the party and government but I wish to humbly appeal to His Excellency the platinum Governor to consider appointing more members of the team into the state media team, having appointed Edwin Afejuku, Lilly Udeze Okolugbo and few others within the past few years of the second tenure.
“Many thanks to state party chairman, Esiso, for giving the team the needed moral and financial support, just as the state government had done the needful to support their wellbeing and welfare within the past six years of this administration and still counting.
“I am extremely proud of DESPSOMET and I only hope that our cordial and result oriented working relationship will continue to grow and achieve the desired results for the party and government,” Oghenesivbe said.
