Ezewu Intensifies Monitoring Visits To Schools In Delta

In continuation of the monitoring of school resumption in Delta State, the Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, has visited some schools in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.

The schools visited by the commissioner included Uduere Secondary School Uduere and Owhe Grammar School, Utowe.

Speaking during the visit , Mrs . Ezewu said that the purpose of the monitoring was to ascertain whether teachers were on their decks doing their jobs.
Mrs. Ezewu, who expressed satisfaction with the progress of the monitoring in the state, noted that the enthusiasm of the students was an indication that they are really happy to be back to school.

While urging the students to put in their best in this term in order to come out with flying colours, Mrs. Ezewu stressed the need for reading culture among students.

She advised students to always desist from negative peer group influence, adding that it could impact on their future negatively.
