19, 27 July For Free Surgeries Screening, Consultations By MDCAN, Delta HMB

Members of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, MDCAN, Delta State Hospitals Management Board, HMB Chapter, will on Wednesday 19th July 2023 at the General Hospital Okwe, embark on free surgeries screening for individuals with such needs.

Chairman, MDCAN, Delta State HMB chapter, Dr Francis Nwabua told newsmen in Asaba that the screening exercise will be followed by free General Consultations on Thursday 27 July 2023 also at the General Hospital Okwe, in Oshimili South local government area of Delta State.

Dr Nwabua said the free medical mission is part of activities for the Biannual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Association,
taking place on Friday 28 July 2023, at BON Hotel Transtel, off DBS Road, Asaba.

The Chairman disclosed that Members will at the Biannual General Meeting and Scientific Conference, elect new Executive that will oversee the affairs of the Association in the next two years, stressing that the free surgeries screening and consultation is a major programme of the outgoing Executive for the handover event.

Dr Nwabua who commended the HMB Consultants for always adhering to professional conduct as well as service to God and humanity, urged those with such challenging health issues to avail themselves the opportunity being provided by MDCAN to attend to them.

“As the present executive plans it handover during the Biannual General Meeting and Scientific Conference taking place on 28th july at BON Hotel Transtel, Asaba, the public is invited for free surgeries screening on 19th July and General Consultation on 27th july. Time is 8am at the General Hospital, Okwe”, Dr Nwabua announced.
