The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) woman leader, Delta central Hon. Chief Dora SakpideHon Chief Dora Afonughe Sakpaide (JP) has joined others to congratulate Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborovwori on his victory as duly elected governor of Delta state by the supreme Court verdict yesterday.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Asaba, Sakpide described the Governor’s victory as pure reflection of the People’s choice.
While thanking Deltans for their resilience and prevalence on the Governor’s mandate during the various litigations, maintained that God’s project can’t be abandoned.
Sakpide who said the ruling of the Supreme Court was a further affirmation of the mandate given to Rt Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori by Deltans, stated that even the litigants knew the Governor won the election in landslide.
Sakpide who hailed from Jeddo in Okpe local Government Area of the state, said the Governor can now focus on his MORE Agenda towards giving the state more developments.
The grassroot politician however said that now the litigations are over, all must join hands to support the development process of Delta State which Governor Sheriff Oborevrwori set to achieve for Deltans.
“I advice my three brothers from Delta Central to congratulate another of our brother, Sheriff Oborevwori who God has chosen this time to govern Delta State.
“ We must all support him to succeed. His success is our success. His MORE agenda captures his development plans for the state in the next four years. Every stakeholder must be part of the development process”, Sakpide stated.
The woman leader further emphasized that the state is in a safe hands as the state government remain determined to sustain its socio-economic growth in the state.
