The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has felicitated with a former member of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary, describing the milestone as a celebration of a life of service, sacrifice and commitment to the development of Delta State.
In a goodwill message contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker congratulated Hon. Mayuku for attaining the remarkable age of 60, noting that his contributions to the growth of the state remain worthy of commendation and celebration.
Guwor recalled that Hon. Mayuku served the people of Warri South West Constituency with distinction for four terms in the Delta State House of Assembly, during which he made significant contributions to lawmaking and good governance.
The Speaker, who represents Warri South West Constituency and succeeded Hon. Mayuku in the House, said the former lawmaker’s wealth of experience and legislative footprint continue to serve as a guiding light for him and other members.
He commended the celebrant for the values of dedication, patriotism and service, even as the Director General of an agency of the state government, which according to him, have defined his public life.
The Speaker joined family members, friends, political associates and well-wishers of the former lawmaker, particularly the people of Warri South West Constituency, in celebrating his Diamond Jubilee.
Guwor who is the Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, prayed that God Almighty would continue to grant Mayuku wisdom, sound health, peace and strength to witness many more glorious years.
He also prayed that the new chapter of Mayuku’s life would be filled with greater accomplishments and abundant blessings.
“On behalf of my family, the leadership and entire membership of the Delta State House of Assembly, I warmly congratulate you, Hon. Daniel Mayuku, on your 60th birthday anniversary. This is indeed a significant milestone and an opportunity to thank God for His faithfulness, preservation and the many years of service and contributions He has enabled you to make to our dear State” Guwor said.
The Speaker further wished Hon. Mayuku continued fulfillment, happiness and prosperity, praying that the Almighty God would preserve him and his loved ones, reward his years of service, and grant him the grace to celebrate many more birthdays in good health, peace and joy.
He urged the celebrant to continue to deploy his wealth of experience and wisdom toward the peace, unity and progress of Delta State and Nigeria.
