As part of the All Progressives Congress (APC) determinations to sack the Okowa led PDP government in Delta State, the APC is perfecting adequate strategies to take over the state comes 2023.
Against this background that a chieftain of the Party Dr. Sylvester Onoyona (Ph.D) hosted all Ward Chairmen and party faithful at Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
At the meeting presided over by Dr. Onoyona who drumed support for the APC and the party candidate ahead of the by-election for Isoko North State Constituency urged the Ward Chairmen and members to work together to clinch victory to enable the party take over Delta state in 2023.
He also commended the Party for the ongoing nationwide peaceful Revalidation and Registration Exercise.
According to him “The APC Revalidation/Registration Exercise has been peaceful and successful in the Senatorial District. “I commend party faithful for their active participation and being peaceful at the Exercise”
Also speaking, a chieftain of the APC and former member of Delta State House of Assembly, who represented Isoko South Constituency 1, Hon. Benjamin Okiemute Essien commended the host and congratulated all APC ward chairmen and executives in the Senatorial District for their successful tenure so far.
The former lawmaker urged APC faithful and supporters in the Senatorial District to remain peaceful, law abiding and charged the ward executives to be steadfast, diligent and committed to the growth and development of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
“I am grateful to APC leaders and members over the ongoing nationwide peaceful Revalidation/ Registration Exercise and reconciliation in States where there’s misunderstanding. It’s onto clearly shows that the party has repositioned itself to retain the presidency and take over powers in all other states in 2023. Moreover, the people of Isoko are really preparing for the forthcoming byelection”. Essien stated
In his speech, the candidate of the party for the forthcoming Isoko North by-election promised to deliver dividends of Democracy to the good people of Isoko North and sponsor Bills targeted at reviving the moribund commerce in the LGA.
The APC Delta South Ward Chairmen thanked the host, Dr. Onoyona for the warm reception accorded them and other party faithful.
