Nwokolo Wins Ika Federal Constituency With Landslide

Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Victor Nwokolo has been declared winner of last Saturday’s National Assembly election for the Ika Federal Constituency seat.

Returning Officer for the Ika Federal Constituency election, Prof O.E. Osafili , at the INEC collation center in Agbor, Ika South, announced that the PDP candidate scored 27,973 votes to emerged the winner.

The Labour Party candidate, Uwanne Utomi polled 20,437 to emerge second position, while the APC candidate, Doris Uboh scored 9,878 votes.

Scores of other political parties as announced by Returning Officer include ADC 443, APM 394, APGA 351, NNPP 311, and A party 198 votes.
