100 Days In Office: Imonina Urges Deltans To Support Oborevwori’s Good Works

A Warri-based legal practitioner, Barr. Sylvester Imonina has called on Deltans to support the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in his quest of delivering huge dividends of democracy to Deltans.

Barr. Imonina made the call at the Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, on Thursday, 14th of September, 2023, where the Governor commissioned some projects.

The legal practitioner who was highly elated on the quality and quantity of projects commissioned to mark the Governor’s 100 days in office, expressed confidence on the fact that from available information, Gov. Oborevwori came prepared for the number one position’s job in the State.

According to Imonina, “it is with infinite pleasure I welcome Rt. Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori to Delta State University of Science and Technology, situated in my home town, Ozoro, wherein five quality projects were lined up for commissioning. As a matter of fact, the commissioning of an Administrative building, Principal Officers’ lodge, two kilometer interlocking road and other projects shows that the Governor is ready to set Delta State on the track of unprecedented developments.

“Also, the award of three (3) cloverleaf flyovers, expansion of the federal government road from DSC roundabout to Effurun roundabout and the construction of pedestrian bridges in the twin cities of Warri and Effurun to a reputable construction giant, Julius Berger Plc is a testament to the readiness of the Governor to bring back the lost glory of the two cities in particular and Delta State in general”, Barr. Imonina posited.

The legal luminary also made reference to the storm water projects being constructed in Warri, Effurun and their environs to make the plague of flooding a thing of the past besides the rehabilitation and construction of Eku-Abraka- Agbor road that is ongoing.

He urged the contractors to work speedily and keep to the contract specifications because from the actions and inactions of the Governor, he is in a hurry to deliver quality “infrastructure Ukodo” to Deltans.

In the words of Imonina, “I must not fail to commend the Governor for the construction of a three kilometer road linking Okpolo-Ehwe and Uwherun Communities in Isoko South and Ughelli North LGAs respectively. This road will in no small measure improve transportation and movement of agrarian commodities amongst the locals in that Area”.

Imonina urged Deltans to support the Governor in the actualization of his MORE Agenda for the good of all Deltans. According to him, Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori means well for Delta State and the signs are there for even both the blind and deaf to see and feel.
