The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, Comrade Churchill Oyovwe, has paid glowing tribute to the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, describing him as an exceptional journalist, dedicated public communicator, and dependable classmate and colleague.
In a heartfelt birthday message shared on a platform to commemorate Nwaeke’s birth anniversary, Oyovwe extolled the celebrant’s outstanding contributions to journalism and his unwavering commitment to the office of the Speaker.
According to the NUJ Chairman, Nwaeke’s professionalism, integrity, and mastery of communication, leadership and public relations have earned him admiration within and beyond the media profession.
“A master of words, steadfast and true, Nkem Nwaeke, this day belongs to you. With wisdom, grace, and cheerful spirit, you’ve earned the honour your works inherit,” Oyovwe stated.
He further praised Nwaeke’s diligence in discharging his responsibilities as Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, noting that his efforts have continued to strengthen the communication objectives of the Delta State Assembly.
“As Chief Press Secretary, your diligence speaks, giving strength to every goal the Speaker seeks. A journalist of uncommon excellence, you write with purpose, truth, and eloquence,” he added.
Describing the celebrant as a cheerful and selfless individual, Oyovwe said Nwaeke’s loyalty, commitment, and sense of duty have inspired respect among colleagues and associates.
“A jolly good fellow, admired by all, whose kindness and laughter brighten every hall. Your loyalty, commitment, and selfless devotion have inspired respect and deep admiration,” the statement read.
The NUJ Chairman also acknowledged Nwaeke’s positive impact within the union, describing him as a dependable colleague whose presence has enriched the media family in Delta State.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the celebrant, wishing him good health, greater accomplishments, peace, and abundant joy in the years ahead.
