Delta 2023 : Oborevwori Remains The PDP Governorship Candidate – – Ugagatalks

The Convener of MORE For Delta Youths Project, Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole, (Aka Ugagatalks) on Thursday, July 14th, 2022, stated that the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and State PDP Governorship Candidate remained the PDP Governorship Candidate of the party.

Speaking in Asaba, the Delta State Capital, during One Million Man Match for the State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Convener of MORE for Delta Youths Project, Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole, noted that they are solidly behind the State PDP Governorship Candidate hence they embarked on the Match for him.

“We want to appreciate you all for finding time out from your busy schedule to address us this afternoon. Here is Delta State Youths across the 25 local government areas of the state, the Non-indigenes ably represented here, the National Association of Nigerian Students sent their representatives, the physically challenged are also represented here. The 1,000 Man Match in solidarity for our principal, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and PDP Governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and with what we have seen today is overwhelming”, he said.

He added that; “As you can see, our people are proud of our Principal, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori. We have come out today not to contest the judgment of the Federal High Court, Abuja, we are not throwing stones, we are not fighting anybody. We, young people across the 25 local government areas have come here to reaffirmed our solidarity, our support and have resolved to support the State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori comes 2023 because he remains the Governorship Candidate of the party”.

“We are here to reassure the man of the people and the State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori in the thick and thin; in the darkest situation the Delta State Youths are standing with him no matter what. We are very sure that by the grace of God, we will get Victory”, he also said.

The Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Ferguson Ohwo, while addressing the youths, lauded them for embarking on the Match.

In his words; “I want to sincerely thank MORE For Delta Youths Project for the show of love and solidarity. First of all, I must tell you today that what you are doing now is right because there is freedom of speech, there is freedom of association”.

He enjoined them to do what they are doing within the limit of the law and quickly added that; “An from what I am seeing, you are peaceful, you are coordinated, you are articulated and thank you very much for that”.

“I want to salute all of you for this show of love on behalf of our Principal, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the honourable members who are bones and pillars of this movement, I called it a movement because it goes beyond one person. When destinies are tied together, it is called movement because you believe in it”, he said.

He also said that; “For those that are Muslims and Christians, please remember our Principal in prayers because I believe God Almighty we serve will not put us to shame and while you are doing this, sustain the peace, sustain the progress, sustain the momentum on what this movement stands for and I know at the end of the day, there is light at the end of the tunnel”.

“I pray God to bless you as you have come and also bless you as you will be going back to your various destination, Amen! And let this be a clarion call to those that are not here that this is the place to be”, he stated.
